Top of Astoria Column

When we were on top of the column there was a guy who came up shortly after us that was extremely scared of heights. I thought we was going to pass out. We wouldnt walk away from the tower to the handrails. IT was funny. From this tower you can see for miles. It is located in Astoria on the mouth of the Columbia River. Kids were flying balsa airplanes from the top of the tower. You could buy them for $1.00 each. We didn't do it, but I'm regretting it now. Posted by Picasa
