Cool View from top of Astoria Column

 This picture was taken from the top of Astoria Column looking north. The bridge crosses the Columbia River at this point; on the other side is the State of Washington. We are now at this moment in La Grande, Oregon. We left Astoria this morning stopped for a few hours at some outlet stores in Portland and now we are located about 450 miles from Pocatello.
