New Window Well

Included are a few pictures of one of my summer projects. It seems that one of the window wells in the basement had rusted out. I was worried about the rust eating through the metal frame of the house so I decided to dig it up and get it replaced. It was a much bigger project than I first imagined, but I finally finished it. Here are a few pictures of the project. I forget to take pictures of the rusted out window well before starting the project. Oh, well, here are some photos if you're interested.

Reminds me of the time I dug up a spinkler pipe near the retaining wall of our garden. Had to dig about 7 feet down to replace a leaking elbow. The dirt filled up our entire back yard! You now are an official Hobbs mole!

Dan, that was one big, messy project! Great job on replacing everything though--it looks wonderful :-). I love the landscaping around your home too.
