Misdemeanor Saga

My misdemeanor saga continues; after waiting 2 months for my pretrial date Fabio and I appeared in court. Fabio tried to get the prosecuting attorney to reduce my misdemeanor U turn to a traffic infraction, but she wouldn't do it. She said that the sign was clearly visible (emergency vehicles only) and that I would have to pay the consequences. Fabio pleaded with her more and she finally consented to contact the policeman who gave me the ticket to see if he would reduce the charge. I didn't hear anything, but 2 weeks later I get a summons to appear in court again for a pretrial hearing. It is scheduled for August 7th. This is ridiculous. Whatever happens DO NOT cross the median on the interstate especially in good old Idaho.
