So........This Shows Up In My email Today, What Do You Think?

Hey Daddio,

You're not even here yet, and Melanie already has a few projects for us to do sometime on Saturday.

1) Drop off some old paint to a chemical disposal place. Saturday is the one day every 6 months where they take that kind of stuff.

2) Install a new outdoor light in the backyard.
3) Buy a ladder and move some of Blake's old baby stuff to the attic.

I'll let you know if the honey-do list gets any larger. I'm sure it will.

Hey, at least I'm not making you climb up to tighten the screws on the gutters! I also need to get rid of the sandbox in the back yard. How do you feel about moving a bunch of sand? haha

Don't worry, in return for all your work, you can sleep on an air mattress in the basement with the spiders! hahaha

Hey, wait a minute!! This is WAY less work than moving a metric ton of dirt and building a shed! I bet Angie and Cory didn't even let you sleep in the shed when you were done. heheheheh

What! Get rid of the sandbox. Does your Dad know about this? You know, I'm a snitch and I don't know how he would feel about getting rid of that sandbox.

Also, do you have a fan that goes along with the air mattress or do I need to buy one? Moving a sandbox is worth at least an air mattress and a fan.

By the way Tammy is making be bring the feather bed. Whoa! What do you think about that.

My dad approves of getting rid of it. Grant eats the sand. I think that is gross and unsanitary. Dad says it's okay to take it down until he's older. haha I promised to keep the wood and put it back up in a year or so

And yes, we have a fan. We have two fans if you want them.

Now, sand can't be that unsanitary or I wouldn't be alive today. Have you thought of what tearing down the sandbox my do to him emotionally? It's killing me.

If we take down the sandbox and replace it with a $5 wading pool, he'll never even remember he used to have one. He played in the pool at our 4th of July bbq for over 4 hrs!

You have a point there with the pool.

We are getting excited to see you tomorrow. I'm thinking you said you would meet us at the airport in Baltimore. Call us tonight around 9-9:30 your time.

Later----

I'm thinking poor Grant how will he ever recover from losing his sandbx? He can't see me do it or I'll be known as the mean grandpa. Do you know what a mean. he he ha ha he
