My Patriotic Posting

Tammy and I were browsing in Fred Meyers this weekend and found this great deal. These flags were originally marked at $9.99 each but were on sale for .50, yes that's cents. So we bought 10 of them.




As you can see the flags have been evenly placed on the deck surrounding the back of our house.




I'm thinking that we are about ready for the 4th.




The wind is really blowing hard this evening and the flags are flapping away. I have secured each with a screw so I'm hoping that they will stay in place at least until the celebration is over. It will be hectic around here on the fourth. The city is projecting a great turnout for the fireworks at the fairgrounds. We plan on staying put as most of the roads around here will be closed.

On another note. We have checked Brian and Krista's blog at least a 100 times and are getting anxious for them to post an update. We're hoping things are going well for them.
