This is a gift that I bought for myself for fathers day coming up on Sunday. Actually, I'll have Tammy wrap it up and surprise me.
This neat little gadget is a GPS receiver that uses bluetooth technology. This means that it is wireless and along with my laptop can give me direction and my exact location. My previous receiver was dropped 1 to many times and it connected via a cable to my usb port. Now with this bluetooth device I can just set the receiver in the dashboard, fire up the computer and we're off. Tammy and I are going to drive to the Redwoods next week for a short trip so it will get some use. It only measures about 2 x 3 inches and I bought the black one. I ended up 1st trying a bluetooth dongle in my usb port, but ended up with a blue tooth PC card on the computer end of things. Well, that's enough nerdy stuff for today.
Yesterday, I power washed my moms entire house, cleaned all of her windows, mowed the lawn, and power washed her neighbors deck. Needless to say today I needed to kick back and do nothing. I'm still pooped.
