I finally did it

Yes, I finally did it. The Christmas tree is set up. Truthfully at the 90% off sale today at Crafts and Frames they had this Christmas Tree so I bought it. I like it because the lights are already on it and it is only 1/2 of a tree. Yes, there is not a back side to this tree so it is perfect for every corner. It can be tucked away in this corner all year around and no one will even notice it. Finally a solution to putting up the dreaded tree.

Now that's the Christmas spirit, setting up your tree 7 months in advance. Have you started listening to any Christmas music yet?

Oh my gosh! That's hilarious!! Maybe since it's so small, you'll actually put it up this year. We had a counselor in our bishopbric at BYU that just kept his tree up all year round. After Christmas, they just put a plastic bag over it and stuck it in the attic decorated and all! Maybe you can do that! Just decorate it and stick it in one of the extra bedrooms until Christmas!

hahaha By the way, how much was it at the 90% off sale and how many old ladies did you have to fight for it?

It was regularly $250.00. I think it was that much because it is only 1/2 of a tree. Can you believe that buying 1/2 is more expensive than buying the whole tree.

I actually thought about buying 2 halves and putting them together to form a whole OR how about this..... we could put 1/2 a tree in 2 corners. However, when I went back to buy another 1 this guy had taken the last 2 and wouldn't let me have 1. I even offered him $30.00 for it. The bugger.

By the way, we can leave this tree up all year around because if you put a plant (the one on the stand) in front of it you barely notice it anyway & we're never in that room besides.

The great thing about this tree is that the lights are already on it. I hate putting on Christmas tree lights.

It's a good thing this sale is over because I have been spending too much time there trying to get a deal.

A good thing is that yesterday I got to watch Tyler while Angie went and spent 2 hours there. She bought $220.00 dollars worth of scrap booking supplies for a whopping $22.00.

Whew! This shopping is getting hard for me.

I forgot to tell you that I bought some more material for Tam. It was 80 cents a yard and the bolt that I fought this lady for had 11 yards on it. She had her hands on it, but I pulled harder. I saw Cory's mom there and she told Cory that the ladies in the store where talking about me. I was the only guy there. Maybe Angie can get the scoop on what they said about me.

Angela! I want a picture of all the stuff you got for $22!! That sounds like a deal. I hope you guys know I'm green with jealousy for all these great fabric and scrapbook deals.
