Thanksgiving Memories 2005
Cobbler-------prior to cooking it. The weather was great today. Just right for cooking outside.
Tammy made this great stuffing which included Jimmy Dean Sausage, mushrooms, water chestnuts. The secret ingredient was all of the old hot dog buns in the freezer. Tammy dried them out in the oven the day before. I usually don't like dressing, but this is great dressing.
Mom, peeling apples for the Dutch oven apple cobbler. We didn't have quite enough apples so we added a can of blue berries. Boy was that ever a good thing to do. Yummy.
This is the turkey which we soaked in for 24 hours in a solution of brine, with oranges, and lemons.
Angie made some delicious potatoes with mushrooms and cream. Very---Very---Good-- stuff.
This picture is funny because of the next one. Tammy made homemade bread sticks; the next picture shows them raising on the kitchen table.
It blew its top!

When I make bread, it rarely rises that high (sometimes not at all). Bet it tasted good.
