Friday Morning at JoAnns

Here is a few pictures of the flannel Tammy bought when she and Angela got up early (4:30 a.m.) to go to JoAnn's. They were back home by 8:30 a.m.

Tammy also stocked up on the large Hershey candy bars at Walgreen's. They were .50 each.

Wow, you always manage to find great deals on fabric and lots of other useful items!

Do you have certain sewing projects in mind before you buy, or do you figure that out AFTER you purchase the fabric?

I don't know about Tammy, but I go with a specific list every year. I look for Christmas pj fabric and mostly blanket fabric. I make a lot of baby blankets for shower gifts. It's really an inexpensive gift when you buy the fabric this way!

Great job on the shopping Tammy! Your strategy worked great!! You really should come to see us one Thanksgiving though! We would have a blast shopping together.

Yeah for JoAnns .99 cent fabric. I got enough for Christmas pajamas too. And a few baby blankets too. Too bad I didn't get much girl stuff. Hopefully all my friends who are pregnant will be having boys. They'll get a cute boy blanket from me.
P.S. Celestine, Did Jared and Jenny ever get the package sent from my parents and me?

We got the package! Thanks guys! The burp rags are awesome and we're using the car seat cover right now. It might be a while before Mario will fit into the clothes though! Thanks again!
