Check out the faucet

Yes, I have been up to something. You see, the faucets in the 2 bathrooms haven't been working all that well. They were difficult to turn on and off so I replaced them with this model. The handles are different in that they pull down to turn the water on and then you push them back up to turn the water off. It's different, but seems to work quite nicely and they are very easy to manipulate.

Recently, we have been busy doing some yard work, but not nearly to the extent that Brian and Krista are performing.

I am in the process of tying up loose ends at work prior to really embarking on the summer break.

I'm also in the process of helping writing a few chapters for the textbook which I teach out of and writing an article of the professional journal. I'll be glad when those 2 items are off of my list of things to do.

Well, I'll wash my hands of this post and think of something better for the next. Hope all is well with everybody. I have really liked looking at your posts.

Lastly, and now........for a magic trick. Have you seen the magic golpher?

Try this out: http://www.learnenglish.org.uk/games/magic-gopher-central.swf

Unbelievably, but undeniably a trick.

I think that faucet is so cool. I love the brushed nickel finish. Plus it will be way easy for kids to use. Our kids can't turn on any of our faucets by themselves...makes it kind of hard for them to wash their hands by themselves. Great work Dan! Good luck on finishing everything up!

The Magic Gopher thing was driving me crazy, but this explains it.

Oh, and I do like those faucets. We have one that leaks, and if we wouldn't have t replace both faucets in our main bathroom, I'd consider something like that. Instead, I'll just have to figure out how to fix the one we have.

The sink looks very nice Dan. What a great handyman you turned out to be. Mike keeps things in good repair around here too, even if it takes a while. He finally replaced that annoying doorknob in the hall bathroom, so now people can lock it easily instead of monkeying with it.
