If you fracture your Mandible

This will show an image I posted a while ago in my blog------ Do you remember the image of the skull with the arrows pointing at it. Well, it ended up in an article that just came out last week. If you are interested in seeing it in context then here is the link:

Article on a mandibular projection via x-ray

I'll think of something even better to post next time, not that there is anything better than this...........WARNING may be boring to some

My favorite parts of Dan's article:

1. Cool abbreviations at end of Dan's name

2. Pretzel/bagel discussion...makes me hungry!

3. Cool outfit worn by Angie in picture.

4. Awesome diagrams!!!

Sincerely,

Melanie A. Hobbs GCSAHM, LTS, (28) (3K) (LIV)

Oops, looked kinda like Angie...I thought she said she was the model for one of your articles.

P.S. I'll send you $20 if you can guess what my initials stand for! haha

PS. Angie was the model about 8 articles ago. Yeah, I could really bore you with more, but I'll spare you this time.

I'll give your $20.00 back if you can tell me what my initials stand for: Dan Hobbs MSRS, RT(R),(CT)(MR)

NO!! You did a pretty good job on my initals. All of them are right except for the great cook part. Double or nothing, one more guess for you! If you get the "GC" right, I'll give you $40!! haha But I get it back if I get your initials right! hahah I'll have to do some research though.

OK, Dan -- I got it!

MSRS = Masters of Science in Radiographic Science

RT(R), (CT)(MR) = Registered Technician in Radiography, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance

PS- you should update the information on the family pages on your ISU website. You are missing 3 grandsons now.

Dan said...

you almost got mine but not quite; are you sure that GC isn't Great Cook?

On mine you are missing the RT(R) part.

Is is Gourmet Cook? or Gorgeous Cook?

It's 1 of those I just know it.

I'll give you a hint if you give me one!

Hint: I don't consider myself to be a good cook (I don't even like it that much)

Dan said...

okay, okay, okay, I get it!

Is it Grouchy Cook????? i guess this means I didn't win the $40.00 or even the $20.00. I'm a sore loser.

My Hint: I am Registered in Radiology, but there's something your missing there.

Melanie said...

I figured it out. Technologist, not Technician. That mistake I blame on Travis!

One more thing -- you said, "My Hint: I am Registered in Radiology, but there's something your missing there."

I think you're missing something too, and apostrophe and an "e". It is spelled "you're" not "your".

I'm an English major, don't mess with me...hahaha!!

You may be an English major, but I'm an author and all I can say is that's why we have editor's, but you are absolutely correct!

Now, I hope you're satisfied because you're making me laugh at all of your postings. You're a great GCSAHM and you shouldn't have listened to your husband about my initials, but you did because you're influenced by what he tells you, especially when he says it at your house, and with your best interests in mind.

Now, I hope you're happy with all of this because your comments are totally yours and yours alone. I hope that you, yours, and all of your family have a Happy Easter becasue you're totally crazy; happy easter (tell me how you like the semicolon). You're the funniest.

With love, your Father-in-law. You're GREAT.

I never believed such a lame posting would be this fun. It's all because of YOUR GC initials. Now, I'm out $20.00 bucks. You're not going to hold me accountable still, are you?

Dan said...

don't tell me that "because" in my last posting is spelled wrong and that yours should be your's or I might feel bad, but I'd be okay your critique because editors are harsh people.

Melanie said...

I'll let the $20 go if you will correct one more mistake in your last comment. I do believe the plural of editors is "editors", not "editor's". hahaha

I just went a little bit more crazy when we dyed eggs with the kids. Blake's right hand is now red and his left is purple. Plus he spilled the red dye on the kitchen floor (still kind of pink in places).

Dan said...

I only have 1 editor as I have only published in 1 journal, so it still is my editor's because he is personal to me, isn't it?

Funny about the eggs. I told you to try Martha's silk tie dying routine, did I not?

Dan said...

wait a minute, i did do editors in the last post before yours....so i was right, so forget my last post as I was lying. I've published in 2 journals.
