Any takers on telling me what this image represents? I am including this image in an article I'm writing. Cory helped me with the perspective on this image and I'm wondering if anyone would explain to me what you see when looking at this image.
One another note, we just returned from Las Vegas. The best part of course was going to the temple. I think LV has 1 of the most beautiful celestial rooms that I've ever seen. On the way down we stopped and did a session at the Saint George Temple. Did you know it was the first temple to open after the Nauvoo temple. It looks similar in design to the Kirtland and Nauvoo temples.
The conference was ok, the casino's are a bore, I hate the smoke, smell, and atmosphere, but on an ending note------------ the Outback Steak House was GREAT.

Ohh, I like the Outback too. I've only been there like once though. I'm glad you guys are back too. Sounds like Mom had a great time scoping out the malls and outlet stores. And, I think I know what the top picture is...I won't say until everyone else guesses, because, I don't want to ruin the game. I know I'm right.
I guess I'm disqualified from the game, too. I like the final picture!
It looks like my head
That skull has been detached from the rest of the body!
So what is it any way?????????????
Jonathan
That is what you are suppose to guess, but I'm not getting many takers. So..........this is a position that a patient is placed in that may have a fractured mandible (jaw). The black device against the phantoms head is a imaging receptor. It is used to capture the x-ray. The straight arrow represents the path of the x-ray beam as it passes through the right mandible; however, the beam exits the left mandible projecting it (the left mandible) onto the plate. The plate is then read by a laser light that converts the energy deposited by the radiation into a digital image of the mandible that can be viewed on a computer monitor. That's the short of it. Thanks for asking.
I dont understand a word your saying.
Jonathan,
OK, here is a simpler version.
Say, your friend hits you in the face so hard that you think you jaw is broken. The skull in this picture represents you and your face. The black thingy is used to make an x-ray film so the doctor can see how bad it is broken. The straight arrow is not really there when the x-ray is taken but on the picture it represents where the x-ray would be if you could see them.
Moral of the story.....don't get in a fight with your friend or you may end up looking like this guy.
Sometime remind me and I'll show you the rest of his body. He's cute isn't he?
