RAID

Posted by Picasa Yesterday I was in the mood for building some frames. This set up is how I go about cutting the rabbit. A rabbit is the groove that holds the glass. Some professionals call this a dado, but I like the term rabbit. Note this elaborate set up. The feather boards are pressed up against the piece of the frame. This is my safety mindedness telling me to make sure to not cut off my fingers. Now that you are totally bored, check out some of the frames in progress below.

PS. Brian is coming over this morning to help me build a few more frames, + we are going to building some frames to stretch canvas over.

PSS. The RAID can is to shoot at those obnoxious flies that seem to love the smell of fresh cut lumber. They're driving me insane.

I got em with the can...... ha, ha, ha, little fly.......

The little flies (especially) are so annoying. They buzz around your face and dive in an out of your armpits. They think they are fighter jets.

This one couldn't escape my Raid fighting tactics. Gotcha....ha, ha, ha. You're a dead fly now... See it wasn't worth messing with me was it?
