So many choices, so little time. . .

Okay. So its been a while since I posted. Today Travis and Melanie and the boys will be arriving for a 4 day visit. We can't wait to see them. In preparation Tammy and I have been thinking of different meals that we could prepare for them. We decided to make a menu and let them choose the dinners. This list includes some of our favorites.

Choices at our Restaurant

Tilapia on a steaming bed of rice or angel hair pasta

White fish fried in a flour, egg, and bread mixture then baked with parsley, bell peppers, with a slight hint of garlic; topped with fresh parmesan and cheddar cheese; served with homemade tartar sauce and garlic bread

Mongolian Beef and Spicy Chicken

Appetizer: Chinese Dumplings dipped in a soy sauce with ginger.

Fresh Beef sautéed in a sweet Mongolian sauce and served with a large portion of spicy cubed chicken. Both of these dishes complement each other; a definite favorite.

Apricot Chicken in the Dutch

A delicious breasts of chicken slowly cooked in a sweet apricot glaze; cooked in the top dutch oven while bread and fried red potatoes sprinkled with parsley cook in the bottom dutch.

Chicken Fried Steak

Maddox look alike; breaded steak served with mashed potatoes and topped with a delicious creamy gravy. Served with steamed vegetables.

Goo La Roo

A house pleaser; Hobbs Chinese dish which includes a secret red sauce; includes red, yellow and green bell peppers, water chestnuts, mushrooms, and is served with the famous house fried rice; a real door stopper.

Pasta De Pollo

Bow tie pasta with pieces of chicken and Italian sausage covered with a creamy rich white sauce mixed with Asiago cheese. Served with steamed asparagus and garlic bread. A favorite of Dan’s

Rotisserie Chicken

Whole roasted rotisserie chicken served with mashed potatoes, creamy chicken gravy, and steamed vegetables.

Cedar board Salmon & rice

Fresh salmon marinated in the house secret and baked to perfection on a cedar board. Served with homemade tartar sauce and augmented with house secret red sauce; steamed vegetables augment this selection.

Coconut Shrimp

Shrimp breaded in coconut and placed on a steaming bed of rice and served with steamed vegetables.

Mexican Specialty Fajitas

Steak, chicken or a combo of Mexican Fajitas served on a hot cast iron skillet with your choice of corn or flour tortillas. This meal is complemented with chips and homemade salsa. It is delicious.

Chicken Parmesan

Tender breasts of chicken, breaded, baked and simmering in a savory red sauce then served on a steaming bead of angel hair pasta.

Traditional meals include:

Spaghetti with a unique homemade sauce served with garlic bread
Chicken nuggets and famous fries
Tammy’s homemade Italian lasagna
Hamburgers on the grill
Pot Roast
Ham

There are so many choice we didn't know what to make and so we decided to let the masses choose for themselves.

Whoa! Does this sound good or what?

My vote is 1) apricot chicken 2) chicken fried steak, 3) tilapia, 4) coconut shrimp, 5) rotisserie chicken, and 6) cedar board salmon. Too bad we live so far away!
