Trav and Mel cookin a little bit of Dutch oven chicken. There's a story to go with this one! I had a few extra coals that I didn't know what to do with so..I placed them in a clay pot on the deck. After about 2 hours Angela and Melanie mentioned they smelled something. I should have listened more attentively as as my deck was about to catch on fire. It didn't burst into a flame, but by the time I checked on it the board was smoldering. I'm sure if it had been much longer it would have been a good deck fire. Oops!
It was smoldering when I removed the clay pot. Yes, I was lucky this time. I learned my lesson.
Fried red potatoes on top and then baked----the apricot chicken is below the potatoes and then the top dutch oven had a blueberry apple cobbler. GOOOOOOOD!

Travis and Melanie look great! Cel and I need to learn some Dutch oven cooking. We will both be going to girls camp this year and Cel is the cook!
