Palmyra Temple

Joseph Smith Sr. originally had a farm that was 100 acres in size. The temple now sits on part of that original farm. When inside the temple looking from the west window you can see the sacred grove. I heard an officator in the baptistry this morning also tell a youth group that the stained glass picture of the sacred grove in the temple had 15 trees in it. I counted them and he was correct. He said it was symbolic of 12 apostles and 3 members if the 1st Presidency. Cool hugh?

I didn't know that about the stained glass. I thought that the stained glass mural of Joseph Smith in the temple was pretty neat though.

Grandma gave me an article about that one time I visited her last. You'll have to ask her about it. I don't have it anymore, but it was neat. It told about how he as inspired to make the stain glass trees and how many there should be. I wish I remembered more, but maybe grandma does. It's cool you guys have seen it.
