I just thought I'd take a moment and show you the little sprinkler heads on my drip system. It is not quite working as I hoped. It seems that the plant that the head is on hogs all the water so now I need to figure how to get water to all the plants in the pot. I'm thinking of adding a few more lines. I know this sounds stupid, but what else do I have to do?
I'm also working on the back flower garden adding a new head with a few drip lines. The wind is blowing hard today and the grass is looking pretty dry. Also, I have been watering all of the trees. There are 10 trees on this property with 2 pine trees.
As a side note I found another dead mouse in the window well. The birds are still bugging me too. Last night I scared them pretty good with a broom, but they still keep coming back! Stupid birds. Stupid birds. Stupid me for spending so much time with them. If only they didn't use the front step for their bathroom perhaps we could get along better. I'll get em tonight after they've gone to sleep.
Oh well............

Maybe you could do like on Steel Magnolias where the dad shoots at all the crows so they will leave the property in time for the reception. Then you could be the crazy shooting guy that lives on the corner and plays with sprinklers. hahahha
Mel,
The neighbor across the street said I could borrow their pellet gun, but Tammy is afraid that I will shot out the windows. She should have more faith in my shooting abilities. Actually, I thought she would be more troubled by me shooting the little birdies.
They tie sparkly red and silver ribbon to the fruit trees in CA to scare away the birds. Maybe you can hang some Christmas tinsel from your roof and see if that works. Or maybe just some bird poison.
